Artistic and Creative Director at Ozone Socks, Peter Rittmaster was raised in a world of quilts. His mother made quilts. “I don’t know where she found the time, but somehow she did—and it amazed me.We have two of her quilts in New York done in the 1940s. Not as pristine as they once were but a joy to behold."

Laurie and Peter have some wonderful quilts and are always on a quest for more. As Laurie puts it, “They are intricate, complex, puzzling, while being both bold and dynamic, quite a feat!”

When Laurie and Peter look at their quilts, they see socks everywhere they turn. As Laurie puts it, “It’s impossible now to look at any quilt without seeing socks - It’s TIME!”

Their shared love for the artistry and storytelling of quilts shapes their vision for Ozone Socks,bringing quilt-inspired designs to life, one stitch at a time.
